This is the Original Inspirational “Fear Not” Giclee Poster Print that I had offered in our Etsy Shop for several years.

In autumn 2022 this print, which is one of my favorite paintings from the Lord, went missing from my inventory.
Though we searched high and low we never could find it.

When Mark searched the purchase history from our printer, it was as if we never bought it!
All other prints we’d bought remained except this one.
Mark thought nothing of it.

But being a soul who tends to brood over everything I could not stop fretting.

The Lord asked me one day to take a quick glance at how many paintings He had blessed me with over the years of Jesus and children.

When I did, I was overwhelmed at all the art He’d produced through me.
Jesus had blessed me with those paintings as His way of calming me through my daily storms of pain during my ceaseless bouts of migraines and fibromyalgia.

They were like His Hand reaching out holding mine through the dark storms while the restless heckling birds of my fearful autoimmune symptoms tormented my brain, trying to steal my joy, peace, and hope.

The grace of the Lord was in His gifts of creativity and as long as my symptoms were not debilitating I could paint, write, or create music. The Lord could use what His grace enabled me to do despite my weakness to honor Him.

As I gazed at all the those paintings I was indeed grateful and loved each of them. But Lord, I said, I still grieve for that one lost painting despite all these precious others, Though there be a thousand, should even one of them go missing I will know it and will hound You to pieces in my prayers till You help me find that missing painting You gave me because it was a special gift from You to comfort me in my pain.

Each is a treasure of Thy love. Just like You forget no birds that fall, I can’t seem to forget a single painting You give me, even a paintbrush we make together to create our paintings. If even one of them goes missing, It won’t be long before I’ll know it and will be in agony.”

The Lord reminded me of the parable of the Lost Sheep. How He loved all the ninety nine who never left the fold but would go to any lengths to find that missing lamb that went astray.

He showed me through this experience that if I can remember and be so haunted about the loss of just one of my creations because they are gifts of His love, how much more is He devastated when one of us goes missing, a living soul whom He purchased with His own spotless blood!

Once I learned this lesson, the Lord showed me where my original painting file was that had also gone missing. I was able to once again make prints available from my painting.

From this whole experience I understood and would and could not forget about how much the Lord must treasure each one of us whom He has created and died on the cross to redeem that we might live with Him forever.

I never tire of painting and repainting this on this image when I get a headache because it truly does calm me to work out my pain as these symbols of dark aggressive birds. Painting helps me in this way, perhaps it would help you too! Pray and seek Christ.
